BRIGGS, Noel Emil

Noel Emil Briggs was born November 12, 1911 at Durham, Oklahoma and departed this life October 2, 1952 at Woodward, Oklahoma, while at work, at the age of 40 years, 19 months and 20 days.
He became a member of the First Baptist Church of West Point, Kentucky in March of 1944. He later moved his membership to the First Baptist Church of Strong City. He served in the U.S. Army from January to November of 1944, serving as a Private in the Infantry during WWII,  and was a member of the American Legion.
He was united in marriage to Lois Riley of Durham, Oklahoma on December 3, 1932. To this union were born five children.
He is survived by his wife, three sons: Thomas of the U.S. Army, Ft. Bliss, Texas, Jessie and Ronald and two daughters, Patricia and Roxie, all of Strong City, Oklahoma. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Briggs, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, six brothers, five sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Interment in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
