CURRIER, Fred C.

Funeral services for Fred C. Currier, formerly area farmer, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Baptist Church in Carter and burial was in the Carter Cemetery under direction of the Savage Funeral Home.
Mr. Currier was born ___22, 1884 in Texas and died January 2, 1964 at his home in Blythe, California.
He came to western Oklahoma in 1904 and lived near Carter and Sayre, then moved in the Three Corners Community in Roger Mills County. He moved to California in 1940, ten years after the death of his wife.
The survivors include two sons, L. P. of Blythe and Seth of Yuma, Arizona, three daughters, Mrs. Cassie Frew of Lubbock, Texas, Mrs. Mary Ann Hickman, San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Marie Sleetman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, also two brothers, Claud of Blythe and Seth of Orange Grove, Texas and one sister, Mrs. Dora Hunter of New Castle, Texas, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
