JUANITA PEARL HUBBARD
Juanita Pearl Hubbard was
born February 26, 1916 in Hall County, Texas to Belle Donita and John Wesley
Nesmith and passed away February 22, 1999 in her home at the age of 82 years,
11 months and 26 days.
Juanita moved with her
parents to Roger Mills County. She married J.E. “Shorty” Hubbard on July 22,
1935 in Cheyenne, OK. They lived in the Strong City Community for over 50 years
before moving to Cheyenne in 1993 to make their home. Juanita was an avid
bridge player and loved to quilt. She was the member of the Strong City Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, one infant son(Jerry Randall Hubbard), three brothers and three
sisters.
She is survived by her
husband, Everett Hubbard of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn
and Ed Bradley of Cheyenne, Anita and Jack Davis of Pampa, Texas; nine
grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; eight step
great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and two step great-great
grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2:00
p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 1999 at the Strong City Baptist Church, officiated
by Aubrey Cowan and assisted by Kenneth Gamble. Interment in the Silent Home
Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
