Mrs. Clara M. McPherson, wife of Fred T. McPherson, died Sunday, February 6, 1916 aged 32 years, five months, ten days. She was born at Dorchester, Nebraska, August 27, 1884. Was married to Fred in 1912. The deceased leaves a husband and two children to mourn her death. William, a son of two years and Alice E., a 12 week old baby girl. It is sad at any time to stand at the bedside of the dying and watch life ebbing tide drifting loved one slowing perhaps, but surely in the ocean of eternity, but when there comes whispering of “tho’ I walk through the shadow of death for thou art with me; thy rod and staff comfort me” thus close a Christian life. Mrs. McPherson was a faithful member of the Christian Church and led a devoted Christian Life. Rev. Curtis conducted the funeral service on Monday at Strong City.
