Services for Wade T. Brewer, 78 of Amarillo who died Tuesday in the Thurman Convalescent Home, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Sunny Point School auditorium.
A former resident of Sayre, he was born February 3, 1870 in Taylor County, Texas.
Survivors include nine sons, Roy Brewer, Ft. Worth; Ernest Brewer, Big Spring; Henry and Johnny Brewer, Amarillo; Lewis Brewer, Lamesa; Fred Brewer, Rosewell, NM; Vernon Brewer, Oklahoma City; Sidney Brewer, Pecos, Texas; and Preston Brewer of the U.S. Air Force; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Fleming, Fort Worth and Mrs. Shirley Snow and Miss Pauline Brewer of Pecos. Committal will be in the Dempsey Cemetery with the Scroggins Funeral Home in charge.
