Funeral services for Connie Bryan were conducted Saturday, November 19, 2011 from the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater with Ed Wrather and Gary McDonald officiating. Interment followed in the Mulberry Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
Connie Lynette Bryan was born January 13, 1968 at Perryton, Texas to Jim and JoAnn (Stover) McClellan and passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the age of 43 following a long battle with cancer. She attended Crawford Grade School and then graduated from Cheyenne High School. Connie was married to Kent Bryan on June 24, 1985 and they established their home in Sweetwater, Oklahoma. They moved to Briscoe, Texas and then to Darrouzette, Texas in 2001. In 2010, they moved back to Sweetwater to make their home. Connie was a home health nurse until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, paternal grandparents and her father-in-law.
Survivors include her husband, Kent Bryant of the Sweetwater home; 2 children, Travis Lee Bryan and his finance Mindy Coleman of Sweetwater and Brittany Morehead and her husband Devon of Sweetwater; 4 grandchildren, her parents, Jim and JoAnn McClellan of Cheyenne, OK; sister, Betty Keathley and husband Cris of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Lee McClellan and wife Valisha of Cheyenne, OK; maternal grandfather, R.E. Stover of Pampa, Texas and her mother-in-law, Lois Bryan of Sweetwater, OK,.
