Yvonne Fry was born March 7, 1936 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Mildred and Tolbert Crowley. She passed away November 19, 2011 at Leedey, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 12 days.
Yvonne grews up in Leedey where she graduated from high school in 1954 before attending nursing school. She was married to Charles “Hoot” Fry at Clovis, New Mexico on December 7, 1955 and they made their home west of Reydon. In 2009, she and Hoot moved to Leedey to be closer to her family. Yvonne enjoyed decorating cakes and family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, “Hoot”, of the home; 2 daughters, Cheri Thionnet and husband, Terry, Petrolia, TX, Cathy Baker, Hammon, OK; 4 gradchildren, Jeremy Thionnet, Tara Frost, Erica Baker, Kelsey Baker; 2 great grandchildren, Blaine aznd Caden Frost; 2 sisters, Fern Pemberton , Leedey, OK and Jimmae Hines, Pampa, TX; 1 brother, Bill Crowley and wife, Pat, Leedey, OK; host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held November 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Reydon First Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Ron Henning. Graveside services will be ehld at 1:30 pm at the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, Canadian, TX under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
