On Wednesday, November 29, 1916, occurred the death of Dessie Chance, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Dawkins, who resides southeast of this city.
Dessie was thirteen years and three months of age at the time of her death, which was the result of an attack of typhoid fever. She had endeared herself to a large number by her charm, and the loss caused by her death will be felt by many.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Gilliam at the Cheyenne Cemetery, where the body was laid to rest.
