Mrs. Maude Goff, wife of A. Goff, of near Redmoon, died last Thursday after an illness of only an hour. On Thursday night, November 23, 1916, she retired, showing not feeling any symptoms of ill health, but sometime in the fore part of the night she was stricken with apoplexy and before sixty minutes had passed, she was dead.
Mrs. Goff was a young woman — only thirty two years of age–when the Reaper caused the flower of life to wilt. She was a person who impressed all by the charm of her personality, and as she was a Christian and an active church worker, her zealousness to the cause of the Creator was an inspiration to many. Among those who mourn her untimely death, are her mother, father and three brothers.
On last Friday her remains were interred in the Cheyenne Cemetery, with Rev. Curtis conducting the funeral services.
