Charles Davis, a cattleman of Canadian, who formerly lived in the Bend,
died suddenly in Kansas City, Monday. The remains will be
brought to Canadian, Texas, where the Masons will take charge. The
funeral will be held at the Bellview Cemetery, located in the Bend of the River.
Mr. Davis was 35 years of age, unmarried and leaves a mother, Mrs. Emma (Crawford)
Davis, a brother, Lee Davis and several cousins. His father, Hiram B. Davis
preceded him in death in 1912.
