FORBES, Jackie Doyle

Jack attended Ralston Public School graduating from high school with the Class of 1967. He continued his education in Tonkawa Jr. College then transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma State University obtaining a Bachelor degree in Physical Education and a Minor in History. Jack then became an educator, coach, and most importantly a mentor. Young people became his life. He loved coaching on the hard court at Canute, Battiest, Fargo, Felt, Carter, Carmen-Dacoma, Yarbrough, Gage and Arnett.
Jack was baptized at the Ralston Baptist Church. While walking his path of life he met Carol Blanche Day, an older and beautiful lady. They married on April 28, 19075 in Wheeler, TX. Carol had two boys Tracy and Troy which Jack treated as his own. Jack and Carol soon learned to open their home to other young men whom might have needed a small break in life or just a firm, fair, and honest hand. They were blessed to have Jinmyh Patton, Paul Esparza, Jamie Hosey, and Jason Johnson became a part of their family.
Jack worked hard as a coach for 39 years. Teaching was his passion, on the court and in the history class room. He also enjoyed being a Antique Coillector, shopping repairing, trading, and buying. Jack also loved to fish with family, friends, and anyone else who would set and visit. See that was a gift that Jack had. There were no strangers, there was aways time, and a “who are you?” “Yeah I coached or watched your kids play.”
