Funeral services for Jessie Henry will be conducted Monday, Jne 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Elk City with Rev. Danny Ringer officiating. Intement will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday at the Martin Funeral Home.
Jessie Evelyn Henry was born April 2, 1928 at Reydon, Oklahoma to Guy Lee and Julia May (Martin) Clarrk and passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the age of 84. She graduated from Highway High School and then received her RN Degree from St. Anthony’s School of Nursing. She worked as a surgical scrub nurse at St. Anthony’s Hospital and also taught evening classes at St. Anthony’s School of Nursing in the evening.
She was married to Thurman C. “T.C.” Henry in 1979 and he preeded her in death on July 15, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include a stepson, Walter Henry of Little Rck, Arkansas, several nieces, nephews and other family members. An online registry is available at www.martinfhok.com
