Funeal services for Oden Henson were held Saturday July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel in Elk City, OK. Family will gather at the Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City under the diretionb of the Marti Fueral Home.
Oden Lee Heson was born October 24, 1937 in Reydo, Oklahoma to Casey and Grace (Sanford) Henson and passed away Sunday Juy 8, 2012 in Amarillo, TX at the age of 74.
Oden Lee Henson lived life to the fullest. He cherished his late wife Patricia June, his four children, and gave everything he had to take care of them. He is best known for being the “Fuller Brush Man”, for over 50 years, and has cusomers that span over the great state of Texas. He loved the Lord and livedf his life for Him and His service. His love for people was evident and he would do anythin he could to help them. His work on this earth is finally finished and now he has earned his Heavenly Reward.
Oden was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, one son Kelly Henson, one daughter Shelly Doolen and one brother Harry Henson.
Survivos include 2 sons: Mike Henson and his wife Luz, Mark Henson and his wif April, one sister Edell Hassell, one brother Donald Henson, eight grandchildren; Bria Valdez, Josh Henson, Chaese Henson, Trevor Doolen, Nathyn Henson, Jeremy Henson, Jennifer Henson, and Nicholaus Henson, and three great grandchildren; Clayton Henson , Makayla Hendson, and Conner Henson.
