Roy Sprowls, Cheyenne, returned home Monday from Phoenix, Arizona where he attended the funeral of his nephew, Ambrose E. Hyer. Young Hyer, 25, was killed in an auto accident Friday, March 21, 1964 (think this should be February 21, 1964) He was a teacher at Yuba City. He was born in Elk City. His parents, who survive, are Mr. and Mrs. John Hyer of Phoenix. His mother is the former Edith Sprowls, sister of Roy Sprowls of Cheyenne.
Also attending the funeral were Memory Sprowls, Oklahoma City, Freemont Sprowls, Portland, Oregon, John Stephens, Elk City and Honwea (Sprowls) Rhoten and Charlie Sprowls of Borger, Texas; and Damon Ladd of Dumas, Texas, cousins of the deceased and numerous other relatives.
