Eddie Ray McCamey, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.R. McCamey, was born July 24, 1914 and died September 8, 1915, age one year, one month and fifteen days.
On Thursday afternoon, September 9, surrounded by a large gathering of friends and relatives, we bid farewell to the earthly remains of little Eddie Ray. The casket was borne to its last resting place by the Misses Rebecca and Vivian Kinzer, Cora Nobblett and Bessie Price.
Rev. E.M. Borden conducted the services at Fairview Cemetery.
Eddie Ray is a child that will be missed by many outside the home circle as she had endeared herself to many by her winsome ways and sunny disposition. From the depths of our hearts we say to the mother, “Weep not, for you not to be the mother of an angel?”
