McCLELLAN, Christopher

Christopher Royal McClellan, 29, of Strong City died Saturday, July 21, 1984 at his home. Funeral services were Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Strong City First Baptist Church. Aubrey Cowan officiated. Burial was in the Strong City Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Christopher was born December 26, 1954 at Elk City, Beckham, County, Oklahoma. He married Naomi Ruth Robinson on August 7, 1983 at Strong City. They lived at Cheyenne until this  year when he moved to Strong City.
He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He was employed at the Green’s Small Engine Shop in Cheyenne. He is survived by his wife, Naomi, of the home; his mother, Rena McClellan, Strong City; two step-daughters, Venetia Lynn Clark of Brighton, MO and Ruth Ann Marshall of Mount Gilead, OH; two stepsons, William Moore Marshall, Jr. of Cheyenne and John Wayne Kinder, Jr., Strong City; one brother, Harold Lee McClellan, Strong City; two sisters, Evelyn Marie Berry, Cheyenne and Ramona Darlene McClellan, Cheyenne, OK.
Preceding him in death in 1971 was his father, Clyde McClellan.
Active pallbearers were William Marshall, Gary Ben Lucas, Bob Lovett, John Robinson, Orbie Whitson and Marvin Stinson. Honorary Pallbearers were Wesley Conway, Spud Moore, T.J. Musick, Murl Green, Hack Webb, James Pierce, David Hayden and Russell Robinson.
