Funeral services for Dale Trent were conducted Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Main St. Baptist Church of Elk City with Rev. Danny Ringer and Rev. Kris Ramber officiating. Interment was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. An online registry is available at www.martinfhok.com
Dale Trent was born July 6, 1929, at Hammon to A.L. and Eva (Drinnon) Trent and passed away Friday, January 14, 2011, at the age of 81. He attended Kiowa and Hammon Schools and was married to Eudora Noah on February 26, 1949. They established their home in Hammon until 1958, when they moved to Elk City. Dale was a famer and also a dairy farmer during his working career. He was a licensed minister and was a deacon of the Main Sr. Baptist Church of Elk City. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and a twin brother.
Survivors include his wife, Eudora Trent of the Elk City home, three children, Ronnie Trent and his wife Carol of Elk City, Donna Dobson and her husband Mike of Elk City, Kaleta Biscoe and her husband Woody of Weatherford, 9 grandchildren, Maria Buchanon and her husband Scott, Marsha Schones and her husband Alan, Margo Hamilton and her husband Paul, Marc Trent and his finance Amy, Terry Long and her husband Kade, Jennifer Onan and her husband Trey, Coty Biscoe, B.G. Biscoe and his wife Allison, Nicole Biscoe, 14 great grandchildren and a sister, Edith Ashley and her husband Martin of Elk City.
