Ronald Edward “Ronnie” Blurton, 63, of Yukon, was born January 13, 1947 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, the soln of Rolly Edward and Audrey (Merritt) Blurton. He passed away January 11, 2011 at his home in Yukon.
Ronnie was a Marine, a cowboy, a husband, a father and a grandpa and proud to be all of those things. He loved his family and friends, The Baby, old country music and the OSU Cowboys. His presence and sense of humor will be missed by all those who loved him.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Dianna Blurton of the home; son, Randall Blurton of Midland, Texas; step-daughters, Erika Miller and husband Craig and Keri Runkle and husband Lowe, all of Oklahoma City; and grandchildren, Alex, Jake and Lily Miller and Trip Runkle.
He was poreceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judy Lyde.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament, Yukon.
