Funeral services for Minnie Rae Tucker will be conducted Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. from the First Baptist Church of Elk City with Dr. Russell Duck and Rev. Ralph Chapman officiating. Minne Rae Tucker was born Decedmber 31, 1922 at Sayre, Oklahoma to George H. and Maude (Church) Hall and passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010, at the age of 87. She graduated from Berlin High School and was married to Charles Robert “C.R.” Tucker on June 6, 1941, at Sayre. Mrs. Tucker was a minister’s wife and with her husband, served churches in central and western Oklahoma. As a minister’s wife, she served and was a member of many church activities and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elk City. She was also a homemaker and a Faith Hospice Volunteer. Rev. Tucker preceded her in death on September 6, 2008 and she was also prceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Judy and a brother, Russell Hall.
Survivors include 2 sons, Manford Tucker of Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Ron Tucker of Oklahoma City, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 1 sister, Johnnie Womack of Elk City and a brother, Marvin Hall and his wife Lois of Oklahoma City.
