Tom Jones was born November 3, 1951 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Jacqueline and Wendell Gail Jones. He passed away November 29, 2010 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years and 26 days.
On August 26, 1968 he married Loretta Jo Miller at Camargo, Oklahoma. Tom worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting all of his life. Other hobbies include coyote hunting, driving race cars, training and riding cutting horses, photography and trapshooting.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta, of the home; 2 sons, Tommy Lee Jones and wife, Amanda, Omaho, NE and Denton Gail Jones and wife Kimberly, Erick, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren and one on the way, Jonathon Wayen, Donnie, Wyatt, Hunter, Amilya, Cody, Chase and Calder; his mother, Jackie Jones, Vici, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Mike Jones and wife, Sabrina, Coldwater, Kansas and Steve Jones and wife, Kathy, Woodward, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Don Miller and wife Sherri, Elk City, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Ladonna Waldrop and husband, Rick, Weatherford, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Pearl Flies, Hinton, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Thursday December 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated by Andy Taylor. Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
