Word has been received of the passing of a former resident of Cheyenne, “Doc” Tunnard. He passed away October 5, 1964 in California after an illness of several months, of cancer. He was buried in Glendale, California on October 7, 1964. Survivors include one brother, Joe Tunnard of Odessa, Texas.
“Doc” Tunnard loved Cheyenne and his friends here. He not only returned here for the Old Timers Reunions but visited on other occasions.
