Rocky Gene Walker was born September 11, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Shirley Shotwell Walker and Charles Walker. He passed away May 6, 2011 at his home in Sacramento, California at the age of 54.
Rocky grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putman City High School in 1973. He was employed by Radiology Corporation of America as a technical engineer and dearly loved his job. He loved music and taught himself to play guitar and drums at a young age.
He is survived by one son, Dustin Walker, his wife Melissa and two grandchildren, Kailee and Kendall, living at Ramstein AFB, Germany; his father, Charles Walker and wife Marla of Guthrie, Oklahoma; sister Renae Andazola and husband Jimmy of Oklahoma City; sister, Jana Brown and husband Jay of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother, Jeff Jay and wife Beverly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; uncle Ronnie Walker and wife Glenda of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Clay Pedigo of Jackson, MS; uncle Rock Burton; uncle Rick Burton, uncle Ron Burton, all of Guthrie, Oklahoma; aunt Myrna Schaffter and husband Rory of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandmother, Bessie Burton, Guthrie, Oklahoma; great-aunt Minnie Hillman of Roll, Oklahoma; three nieces and three nephews and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Shotwell Patterson and husband John; grandparents Eli and Sue Shotwell of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Henry and Seaneth Walker of Roll, Oklahoma.
