James G. Hambrook was born
June 16, 1892 in North Dakota and died at his home five miles south of Cheyenne
on January 17, 1933, age 40 years and seven months.

Mr. Hambrook was an early
settler……..(unreadable)…..twelve years of age. He was united in marriage to
Lillie Patterson , June 1, 1921. To this union were born two children, Virgil,
age 10 and Lettie, age 9. Mr. Hambrook had lived near the Needmore School House
for the past three years. He was always highly respected by all. He was a good
neighbor, devoted father and husband. He died after a lingering sickness having
suffered for the last ten months.

and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. N.G. Mathison of Sayre, OK and a host of friends. A
large crowd attended the funeral, which was conducted by Rev. J.D. Green at
Dempsey School House. He was laid to rest in the Dempsey Cemetery. Burial in
charge by Littrel-Moore
