Dianna Mae Conway


Dianna Mae Conway was born December 30, 1943 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Freeda Mae and Elmo Wade Kirk. She passed away June 1, 2016 near Hammon, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 1 day.
Dianna attended school at Grimes and graduated Berlin High School in 1962. In June of that year she began working at the Roger Mills County Courthouse. In 1965 she married Wesley Conway and 3 children were born to this marriage, Leslie, Ramona and Monte. In 1976 she entered Nursing School at Burns Flat and graduated as an LPN. She worked in the nursing field in Beckham and Roger Mills County for many years was currently was in providing private care. Dianna enjoyed traveling with bus tours, was known for her great cooking, especially her pies, going to the casino and caring for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Kenneth, Gordon, Rodney and J.L. Kirk, 2 sisters, Louise Walker and Betty Keahey.
She is survived by her 3 children, Leslie Conway, Roll, OK, Ramona Rhodes and Kobie, Cheyenne, OK, and Monte Conway and Zoanna, Cheyenne; 4 grandchildren, Lynzi Aikins and husband, Donnie, Justin Rhodes and wife, Lacy, Lacey Rhodes, and Heath McIntyre, 6 great grandchildren, Victoria, Natilee, Nathan, and Adrianna Aikins, Raylan and Rachel Rhodes; her brother and sisters, Sharon Tignor and husband, Dickie, Cheyenne, OK, Margie Anderson and husband, John, Sweetwater, OK, George Kirk, Cheyenne, OK, Wade Kirk and wife, Nelda, McLean, TX, and Wallice Kirk and wife, Glenda, Cheyenne, OK; 2 sisters-in-law, Ella Pearl Kirk and Linda Kirk, Cheyenne, OK; a brother-in-law, Richard Keahey, Crawford, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Services will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10:30 am at Cheyenne School Auditorium officiated by J. Farber. Burial will be at Berlin Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
