THOMPSON, J.H.

On Wednesday afternoon were laid to rest the earthly remains of J.H. Thompson, father of our blacksmith, G.W. Thompson. Rev. W.B. Gilliam of Cheyenne conducted the impressive services at the church and grave. A large gathering of neighbors and friends were present to bid the last farewell to the departed, who had lived the allotted three score and ten. The grave was completely buried in flowers and gifts from loving friends. Besides the wife, whom he married in 1865, he has left three sons to mourn his loss.
