Evie Lee Aderholt, 85, of Fort Worth Texas, formerly of Borger, Texas, died Friday, January 30, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Evie was born February 23, 1929 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Greer “Jud” and Lillie Mae (Cope )Anderson. She married Gerald “Tig” Aderholt on August 18, 1945 in Wheeler, Texas. They farmed in the Allison and Briscoe Communities until 1964. They then bought Gageby Grocery Store. She moved to Borger, Texas in 1977 and later to Boyd, Texas in 2005.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1975, son Michael Wayne in 1986, infant son in 1956 and a granddaughter, LeAnn Vaughn Davis in 1995.
Evie is survived by daughters, Sharon Kemp and husband Larry of Borger, Texas, Phyllis Riley and husband Mike of Boyd, Texas; sister Rossie Trout of Reydon, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
