Olga Nevada Allen, 96, of Tacoma, WA was born in Hammon, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Charles and Alice (Miller) Stamper, one of nine children. She grew up in Oklahoma. She married Elmer G. Allen on November 16, 1935 in Strong City, Oklahoma. They were married for 69 years before Elmer’s passing on September 25, 2005.
They had three children, Guen J Allen, Ramona G. Owens and Patsy J. Rockwell. They moved to Tacoma, WA in 1956. Olga was a devoted wife and homemaker. She always put her family first.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer G. Allen, son-in-law Ronald W. Owens, grandson Ronnie W. Owens II and her 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son Guen J. Allen and wife Jan of Pampa, Texas and dauighters Ramona G. Owens of Tacoma, WA and Patsy J. Rockwell and husband Don of Tacoma, WA., She also had 6 grandchilren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all.
The family would like to thank the House of Hope for the wonderful care they provided Olga over the last 9 months. They would also like to thank the many previous caregivers who provided her and Elmer with warm and loving care.
Services were held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Fir Lane Funeral Home n Spanaway, WA.
