Wanda Marie Allen, 83, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on April 23, 1934 near Jones, Oklahoma to
George Ira and Bertha Matilda (Belden) Boysdstun. Surrounded by her loving family she went home to be with
her Lord and Savior on Christmas December 25, 2017 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Wanda married her
best friend and sweetheart Eben Walker Allen on May 17, 1952 in Jones, Oklahoma. Her hobbies included
cooking, canning, gardening crafts and collecting items of interest. She enjoyed watching Leedey High School sports
and was an avid sports fan. Wander served as the National Secretary for the Auxiliary to the National Rural Carriers Association
from 1990 till 1995. While serving as Auxiliary National Secretary she traveled to forty-eight states, and dined yearly with the Post
Master General in Washington DC. She was a Stanley Home dealer for over twenty-five years. She was a member
of First Assembly of God Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at
First Assembly of God Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. Rev. Kevin Akins will officiate. Interment will be at Red Star Cemetery in Leedey,
Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory are her husband, Walker of the home; three sons, Gregg Allen and his wife, Pam, of Amarillo, Texas,
Gary Allen and his wife Karen of Wichita Falls, Texas, Philip Allen and his fiancee’ Vonna Caldwell of Elk City, Oklahoma; six
grandchildren, Corey Allen, of Plano, Texas, Kyla Funkhouser of Sentinel, Oklahoma, Julie Ayers, Aniece Anderson, Lauren Allen
all of Wichita Falls, Texas, Laiken Allen of Dallas, Texas; seven great grandchildren; Payton Mitchel of Southlake, Texas, Hudson Funkhouser,
Maddux Funkhouser both of Sentinel, Oklahoma, Abigail Allen, Sophia Allen both of Plano, Texas, Scotta Grace Anderson, Jack Anderson
both of Wichita Falls, Texas: three sisters, Virginia McCoy of Jones, Oklahoma, Marilyn Wallace of Claremore, Oklahoma, Margaret Prock
of Jacksonville, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Ira and Bertha Boydstun, three brothers Ester Boydstun, Duane Boydstun,
Eugene Boydstun, one sister Roberta Jones. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral
