Julia Virginia Blaylock was born January 16, 1913 in Stpehens County, Oklahoma to S.A. and Isabel Pitcock. She passed away on November 21, 1984 in the Cheyenne Nursing Home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 5 days.
She lived her early married years around Hammon, Oklahoma, with her late husband Joseph J. Blaylock.
They moved to New Mexico for a few years then to Mountain Park, Oklahoma, where she run the Mountain Park Laundry for 15 years.
She was a member of the Mountain Park Baptist Church.
Survivors are 2 daughters Juanice Parkhurst, Strong City, Oklahoma; Loretta Horne, Mountain Park, Oklahoma; 2 sons, Stephen of Alvin, Texas and David of Oklahoma City; 3 sisters, Ora Shell and Ethel Stamper, Cheyenne; and Francis Parkhurst, Oakwood, Oklahoma; 4 brothers, Fred, Clarence, Wallace and C.D. Pitcock all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren
Services were held in Mountain Park at the Baptist Church by the Rev. Emmett Hayslip.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
