Sam William Bowman, Star Route 2, Socorro passed away on Christmas Day, 1963 at his home. He was 75 years of age.
Mr. Bowman formerly from Canadian, Texas, lived in the state for 30 years and in Socorro for eleven.
Surviving Mr. Bowman are his wife, Pearl and a son, Col. Sam W. Bowman, Jr. of Alamogorda; and daughters, Mrs. E.F. Malone, Albuquerque, and Ms. D.A. Kirby, El Paso, Texas.
Services were held at 10:30 Friday at the Steadman Memorial Chapel with graveside services at 2 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
