BRANNAN, Laura Alice (Drinnon)

Visitation for Laura Brannan will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Madill, Oklahoma. Weldon Wright will officiate the services. Music arranged by Tom Estes and Mary Owens. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Casket Bearers: Tyler Brannan, Garrett Brannan, Darrell Keith Watkins, Tyler Waggner, Justin Ramer, Jessy Ramer and Lee Gamble.
Laura Alice Brannan, 77 of Madill died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on March 16, 1937 in Clinton to the late Harvey Brownlow Drinnon and Laura Ester Seals Drinnon. Laura Alice was raised in Hammon and graduated from Hammon High School in 1955. In 1957 she moved to Elk City where she married Ronald Gene Brannan on June 11, 1957. She lived in several different places being married to an Assembly of God Minister. They moved to Madill in 1985 where they ministered and added a new sanctuary to the church. She moved to Whitesboro, Oklahoma before retiring in 2004 and moving back to Madill where she lived the rest of her life.
Her main focus was on her family, her church and she loved being a pastors wife. She served as Sunday school teacher, all areas of the Women’s Ministry and in the girl’s ministry in Missionettes and the Star programs.
Laura Alice was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Darrel Brannan in 1982, one grandson; Darrell Gene Brannan II in 1982, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Gene Brannan, Madill; two children, Rick Brannan and wife, Cindy, Madill and Lavada Morris and husband, Darrin, Clayton, NM; nine grandchildren, Nycole Waggoner, Darrell Keith Watkins, Garrett Brannan, Tyler Brannan, Justin Ramer, Cali Ramer, Jessy Ramer, Dillon Morris and Lance Morris; four great grandchildren, Brityn Ramer, Rustin Correia, Tucker Correia, Brielle Brannan; four sisters, Della Johnson, Roseville, California; Minnie Hillman, Burns, Oregon; Virginia Creach, Tuttle, OK and Juanita Dixon, Elk City, OK; and one brother T.C Drinnon and wife, Darlene, Pampa, Texas.
