CALVERT, Juhree

Juhree Calvert was born April 20, 1925 in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma to Maudie May and Osborne Kieffer Isbell. She passed away December 27, 2014 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, eight months and seven days.
Juhree was raised in the Cloud Chief community where she graduated from high school and remained in Cloud Chief where she worked at the grocery store. She was married to Randall Calvert at Cordell, OK on February 15, 1946. They moved to Kentucky while Randall finished his tour of duty with the U.S. Army and then returned to Oklahoma. They lived east of Cheyenne for two years until moving west of Crawford, where they made their home. Juhree helped Randall with the dairy for many years and enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She loved teaching her children and grandchildren to sew and they will fondly remember her for her cinnamon rolls.
She was a longtime member of the Cheyenne First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Vernon Wayne Calvert, two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Calvert of the home, three children, Eugene Calvert and wife, Christine, Crawford, OK, Juhretta Roark and husband Dwayne, Cheyenne, OK, Teddy Calvert and wife, Doris, Durham, OK; ten grandchildren, Tracy Smith, Lisa Calvert, Travis Roark, Kevin Calvert, LaDonna Williams, Tarryn Crawford, LaCinda Leitsch, Tyler Roark, Evan Calvert, Glen Calvert, eighteen great grandchildren, a sister, Adalou Penner, Cordell, OK; two brothers, George Isbell and wife, Barbara, Dill City, OK and W.H. Isbell, Rogers, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne First United Methodist officiated by Pastor Alex Costea. Burial will be at Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com.
