Marcella Cearlock

2017 )
Marcella Cearlock was born October
21, 1933 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Lucinda and John Barney Smith. She passed away
January 30, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 9
days. 

Marcella grew up in Marlow, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1951. After
graduation, she furthered her education at

Central State College and also
Cameron University. She was married to Donald Ray Cearlock at Marlow, Oklahoma
on
January 3, 1953. Donald and Marcella lived in Marlow, Duncan and Guthrie
before moving to Cheyenne in 1963.
Marcella became the librarian and became a
staple at the Minnie R. Slief Memorial Library in Cheyenne. She continued
until
her retirement in the late 90s. Marcella enjoyed reading, going to garage
sales, collecting jewelry and dolls and
spending time with her family and
friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters, Merle Miller,
Mabel Whitener, Ruth Collier and Marilea

Bible and 1 brother, J.B. Smith.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Tim Cearlock, Cheyenne, OK, Kevin Cearlock and
wife, Anne, Cypress, TX and

Brendon Cearlock and wife, Devia, Amarillo, TX; 4
grandchildren, Derek Cearlock and wife, Lindsey, Leedey, OK,
Parker Cearlock,
Amarillo, TX, Spencer Cearlock, Amarillo, TX and Erin Cearlock, Cypress, TX; 5
great
grandchildren, Austin, Breyden, Cayne, Avery and Dycen, all of Leedey,
OK; 2 sisters, Sammie Black,
Whitney, TX and Joyce Cobb, Blanchard, OK and a
host of other relatives and friends.

Cemetery, Marlow, OK on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00
Visitation at Whinery Elk City
Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 9-5.
