A. Laverna Coots, 84, Sweetwater, Oklahoma was born on October 8, 1931, Strong City, Oklahoma to Eva May (Castle) and George Bryant. She passed away on July 21, 2016. She married Jerry Warren Coots on March 19, 1948 in Dumas, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two daughters: Jerrye Sullens and her husband James of Georgia, Patty Coots of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two sons, Wendell Coots and wife Carolyn of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Farrell Coots of Hollis, Oklahoma; one special nephew Edgar Bryant and numerous grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.
A special Celebration of Laverna’s life will be held at the home of Wayne and Jessica Beck on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to bring a dish and any photos that may be shared.
