Funeral Services for Dorma Lee Courtney will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Rose Chapel. Burial will be at Berlin Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Dorma Lee Courtney was born September 30 1921 in Hammon and died Tuesday at Sayre at the age of 86.
Dorma Lee grew up in Elk City where she graduated from High School. She was married to Clarence Edward Courtney at Sayre on March 9, 1940 . They lived in the Doxey community before moving to Sayre in 1953 to make their home. Clarence worked for Sayre Schools as a janitor and Dorma Lee worked in the cafeteria at the school before working for Sayre Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one daughter, Linda.
Survivors include one son, Butch and Kay Courtney of Arlington, Texas; two brother, John Schoonover and Kay Schoonover both of California; five grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
