CURRY, Norman Ray

Norman R. Curry, 85, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life today, December 11, at 2:30 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designer. Norman Ray was born on December 18, 1926 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma to Hanna G. and Mary Vicotria Curry. On December 7, 1952, Norman married Eleanor Cannon at Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka, Kansas. “Norman was beloved by many and left an impression upon all he encountered by his honesty, integrity and belief in hard work would provide for his family. He will be forever missed but not forgotten.”
He is preceded in death by his son, Alan Ray Curry, who died June 20, 2009 and daughter, Kimberly Anne Courson, who died April 22, 2010. His brother, Glen Curry and sister, Virgie Ballenger also pareceded him in death.
Mr. Curry is survived by his wife, Eleanor; grandchildren, Sean Curry and wife, Nikki, Melissa Brown and husband, Mike, Cole Courson and wife, Natalie, Kacy Courson, Cali Campagnola and husband, T.J.; great-grandchildren, Holly and Hannah Curry, Colton and Madison Brown, Makenna, and Kinsley Courson, Cali LeeAnn Johnson, and Kellen Stone. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Coon and wife Sue.
