Dorothy Louise Fuchs was born August 19, 1917 in Weatherford, Texas to Kathy and Morton Smith. She passed away August 6, 2012 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 11 months and 17 days.
Dorothy moved with her parents to the Delhi community as a small child. She was married to C.G. Fuchs Jr. at Sayre, Oklahoma on June 10, 1939. They contiunued to live west of Sayre to make their home. After 67 years in the same home she suffered a stroke and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in June of 2006 to be near her daughter. C.G., Dorothy and their sons owned and operated Butcher Boy Enterprises for 70 years.
She was a member of the Sayre First Christian Church.
She was precedded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, Hershel Lynn Fuchs, 1 daughter, Kitty Miller, 2 grandchildredn, Dana and Darren Miller, 1 great granddughter, Darian Mackey, 2 brothers, Hubert Smith an Stanley Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Mackey & husband Larry, Weatherford, OK; 1 son, Carl Fuchs & wife Faye, Blanchard, OK; 1 sister, Winnie Williams, Moore, OK; 7 Grandchildren, 7 Graet Grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Sayre First Christian Church oficiated by Rick Dyson. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
