Wanda Pearl Broadbent-Gass, 87, went to be with our Heavenly Father on February 2, 2012. She was born in Hammon, OK on April 5, 1924 to Edward and Lula Broadbent, who both preceded her in death. At the age of 13, she quit school to help her parents who were both blind and from that day on she would help anyone who needed it. When she was 15 she fell in love and married Foy Gass. They went on to have two sons, Ron and Don Gass. Wanda and her family lived in Guymon, OK until 1973. They then moved to Butler, OK where she lived until her passing.
Wanda is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Foy Gasa and her sister Linda Broadbent-Spurril: as well as many other loved ones. She is survived by her two sons; Ron Gass of Butler, OK; Don Gass and wife Clara Beth of Choctaw, OK; her five grandchildren: Darwin Gass and wife JUulie, Darla Gass-Gibson and husband Michael, Nancy Gass-Lucas and husband Clifford, Rick Gass and wife Tammy, Randy Gass. Wanda is also survived by her nine great grandchildren; Allison Gass, Tyler Lucas, Nolle Gass, Rollie Lucas, Austin Gass, Nick Gass, Colton Gass, Tanner Gibson and E.J. Gibson.
Wanda often said how proud she was of all of us doe the way we turned out and that she knew that we would all be together again someday. I can imagine the look on her face when she sees the dace of Jesus, her wonderful husband and all the family that preceded her in death.
MOMMAZ-GRANDMA-GRANDMA GG, we love you and will miss you deeply!
