Gloria June “Dobie” Kemp, 77, went home to Jesus December 3, 2012.
Services will be Thursday December 6, 2012 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, Coffeyville, Texas.
Dobie married Bobby C. Kemp. They were rewarded with 2 daughters, Tina Carol Gaddy and Gina Darol Simpson.
Dobie was an exceptional mother and wife. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Her cooking, along with her other attributes can not be replaced. Dobie made the best chicken and dumplings and fresh coconut cake, this side of Glory. As for friends already crossed over, when Dobie sees Minnie Carol, Wanda Mae and Ercile, it will be hard to get a word in edge-wise. We will always love you and revere your memory, waiting for the day we will see you again, Mother.
Preceded in passing by her mother, Mabel Anderson Bowman and daddy, Trammell Bowman.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby C. Kemp; daughters, Tina Carol Gaddy (Scott) and Gina Darol Simpson (Rusty); grandchildren, Brandi Morrison, Clifton Huie, Bobby Jay Morrison and Rikki Lou Simpson; and 5 great grandchildren.
