Carol Marie Merwin was born January 17, 1967 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Glenda Sue and Robbie Lee Lytle. She passed away November 24, 2014 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of forty seven years, ten months and seven days.
Carol grew up in Cheyenne and also lived a short time in Wewoka. She moved back to Cheyenne in 1986 and married Bill Merwin in 1987. She completed nursing school in 1998 and worked several years as an LPN in and around Elk City. Carol enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and had an extensive movie collection. She also liked to watch the Elk City dirt track races. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her two sons: Johsua Merwin and wife, Shanna, Burns Flat, OK and Jacob Merwin, Elk City, OK; daughter Vanessa Bryant, Holdenville, OK; two sisters, Dawn Musick, Elk City, OK; Barbara Burton, Winnfield, TX; two brothers, Ashley Lytle, Mt. Pleasant, TX, Billy Binion, Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Alyssa Sneed, Evan Merwin, Eric Merwin , her mother, Glenda Sue Lytle, Elk City, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.
