Wyat Alan Miller was born January 5, 2000 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Rusty and Tamara Miller. He passed away June 18, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 16 years, five months and thirteen days.
Wyat grew up near Berlin on his parents farm. He attended Sayre School all of his life and had just finished the tenth grade. He was active in FFA and a member of the Eagle Golf Team and had enrolled at Western Technology Center in the Diesel Ag Mechanic program for the fall. Wyat loved animals and enjoyed fishing, Hunting and farming and had dreams of becoming a Firefighter. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him and will be missed by his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Conard Miller and great grandparents, Melvin Hill, Frank and Carrie Bowers, Virgil and Shirley Batterton and a cousin, Shayla Ann Willsie.
He is survived by his parents, Rusty and Tamara Miller, of the home; his grandparents, Wayne and Carol Ann Batterton of Cheyenne, OK and Ladon Miller of Sayre, OK; Great Grandmother, Barbara Ann Hill of Shamrock, TX; Aunts and Uncles, Dustin and Sarah Batterton of Cheyenne, OK, Doug and Kandra Little, Calumet, OK, Sindi Lowe of Sayre, OK; seven cousins, Nickie McRee and husband, Dustin, Jay Little and wife, Morgan, Jacob Little, Jared Little, Lane Batterton, Owen Batterton, Sean Lowe, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sayre High School Auditorium, Sayre, OK. under the direction of Whinery Funeral Home.
