H.R. Moler was bor March 2, 1928 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Laura Lilly (Yarber) and Cleveland Curtis “Tip” Moler He passed away December 16, 2010 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the ae of 82 years 9 months and 14 days.
H.R. moved with his parents to Hammon, Oklahoma where he graduated from High school. He was married to Norma Dell (Blackketter) at Wheeler, Texas on November 29, 1948 They lied in Hammon and Coloradol before moving to Cheyenne, Oklahom to make their home. H.R. worked on a ranch, owned and operated a filling station, Country Boy Driv In and Moler’s Restaurant while driving a truck for a numer of years dlivering cattle and feed.
He was a member of the Cheyenne First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Roger Lynn Moler, 1 gradson, Gary Wayne Sanderford, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Norma, 3 Daughters, Vickie Sanderford and husband, Jim, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Lucy Banks and husband, Mike, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Teri Barton and husband, Greg, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 4 sons, Herman Richard “Dick” Moler, Jr. and wife, Wilma, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; R.C. Moler and wife Julie Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Bob Moler and wife Traysha, Erick, Oklahoma; Frank Moler and wife, Rita Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Bill Moler, Elk City, Oklahoma; 2 Siste, Mary Maddox, Sentinel, Okahoma; ad Moy Henley Ft. Smith, AR; 28 grandchildren 39 Great grandchildren, and a host of other realitives and friends.
Servics were held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cheyenne School Auditoriu officiate by Terrell Romberg and Dennis Hooper. Burial followed at Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Serice.
