Mrs. Hannah (Gray) Montgomery services were held Sunday, July 2, 1964 in the Lamont Revival Tabernacle at 2 p.m., Rev. Paul Winters officiating. Mrs. Montgomery passed away June 28, 1964 at the age of 84 years, 3 months and seven days.
Born in Arkansas, March 21, 1880, survivors are two sons, Welbie E. Montgomery of Harbor City, California, Edward C. Montgomery of Compton, California, one daughter, Girgie George of Canadian, Texas; two brothers, Shook Gray of Modesto, California; and J.E. Gray of Reydon, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were three grandsons, Charley George of Pampa, Texas, Larance Elrod and Billy Elrod of Compton, California and one great grandnephew, Billy Eairl Mavehall of Bakersfield, California.
Conducted by Hopsons Lamont Mortuary, interment was in Arvin District Cemetery.
