Gary Moseley was born March 24, 1946 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Glenn and Eloise (Staples) Moseley. He passed away June 23, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, two months and 29 days.
Gary grew up in the Sunny Point community and later moved to the Sayre area. He worked for Pucketts Meat Company for many years then worked for the Bill Harlow Ranch as a Ranch Hand and ran pipelines for Harlow Oil Company Gary loved anything to do with horses and being an old fashioned cowboy. He also loved to barter on anything and everything including clothes, boots, food and furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael Moseley, a brother, Ronnie Moseley, a nephew, Brian Winter and niece, Terri Sears.
Gary is survived by his wife of 37 years, Louise, of the home; one brother, Dale Moseley and wife, Mary of Sayre, OK; two sisters, Lila Sears and husband Earl of Cheyenne, OK and Linda DePron, Sayre, OK; two nieces, Machille Weatherford and husband, Don, of Little Rock, AR and Katonia Addington and husband, Ricky, of Rhome, TX: five great nieces, Jennifer, Ashley, Keisha, Adrian and Amy; one great nephew, Josh; five great great nieces, three great great nephews; an aunt, Mary Ladel Anderson and husband, Gary of Waters, MT; a cousin, Shiela Watowa of Surprise, AZ and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held at the Rose Chapel in Sayre, OK on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
