Moseley, Wanda L. Taylor

Wanda L. Moseley was born August 17, 1929 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Bonnie and Toy Taylor. She passed away August 22, 2011 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years and 5 days.
Wanda attended school at Carnegie, Oklahoma. She lived in Carnegie and California before moving to Lubbock, Texas where she met Dale Moseley and they were married at Clovis, New Mexico on August 29, 1974. They lived in Shallowater, Texas for a short time before moving to Oklahoma to make their home northwest of Sayre. Wanda enjoyed camping, fishing and was an excellent seamstress and cook. She loved teaching children about the Lord and spent many years volunteering as a Sunday School teacher and also held her own Children’s Bible Camp during the summers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Carroll Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Moseley, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Carpenter, Cheyenne, OK, and Amy Moseley-Wells, Elk City, OK; four grandchildren, Jimmy Miller, Donna Boyett and husband, Terry, Lindsey Wells, and Emma Wells; three great granddaughters, Jacklynn, Ashely and Megan Boyett; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Miller, Cheyenne, OK; four sisters, Bonita Griffin and husband, Alvis, Austin, TX, Juanits Daniel and husband, Alton, Arlington, TX, Sandra Sue Marshall and husband, Joe, Denver, MO and Charles Morey, Arlington, TX.; four brothers, Merle Taylor and wife, Melva, Flint, TX., Don Ricks and wife, Sheila, Amarillo, TX., Harold Ricks and wife Debbie, Hurstr, TX.; and Carl Ricks and wife Rita, Amarillo, TX,; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held August 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. at New Liberty Church, officiated by Jimmy Dean. Burial was at Lone Oak Cemetery under yhe direction of Rose Chapel Funeral SAervice. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
