Norante, Frank Keltz

Frank Keltz Norante, of Edina, MN and Henderson, NV passed away unexpectedly Saturday Februasry 25, 2012, of natural causes.
Born in Latrobe, Pennsylvanis, on October 7, 1956, the beloved son of Nicholas John and Barbara Jennings Keltz Norante, Frank was a graduate of Knoch High School, Saxonburg, PA, and the University of Cincinnati, when he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Frank has a long and succefsul career in the insurance and financial industries. Frank prided himself of understanding the details of the technologies and practices of industries he served, but most valued the friendships he developed with his clients and colleagues. Frank most recently worked for Aon Risk Solutions, and insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm. In 2006 Frank recognized a need to assist Aon in Canada to provide dedicated service to Canadianbased companies that do business in the United States. Thus initative was implemented and the “Canada Desk” was born. It has become such a success and an invaluable service that Aon offers to their clients, that in six years the “Canada Desk”, starting with Frank alone, has grown to a unit of five within Aon. This was his passion, his baby and is his legacy at Aon.
Frank enjoyed his life in Minnesota, especially the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, treasuring the time he spent on many trips to Canada and in Minnesota on the water and in camp with friends and family. Frank was also proud of his skills in hme renovation; he always had a project underway or in planning. He enjoyed entertaining friends and family, who always had an open invitation to visit.
Frank is survived by his cherished wife J.J., his mother Barbara, and brother Nicholas J. Norante, Jr., both of Butler, PA, sisters Christine (Robert) Weyant of Wexford, PA, and Virginia (Todd) Schmidt of Twinsburg, OH, his niece, Laura (Ben) Erdejac, and nephews Robert Weyant and Nicholas M. Norante, his great nephew Lucas Erdejac, and beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Nicholas, and his mother in law, Hardy Lowe Clay, who made her home with him and JJ in her final years.
Frank will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him, but fondly remembered as a generous, loyal friend and a hard worker, always endeavoring to help in any way he could.
Services were held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Washburn McReavy Funeral Home in Edina, Minnesota. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvanis on a date to be announced later.
In lieu of flowers donation to the Minnesota Humane Society or charity of choice in preferred.
