Juanita Parker was born May 11, 1919 in Kiowa County, Oklahoma to Levada and Bud Clark. She passed away Sepember 28, 2010 at Iola, Kansas at the ageof 91 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Juanita grew up in the Lone Wolfe community and was married to Curtis Buford Parker July 23, 1934. They lived briefly at Lone Wolfe and then moved to Wichita, Kansas where Curtis worked in the defense plant during World War II. They then moved to Sayre, Oklahoma to make their home.
She was a member of the Sayre Church of Christ for 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and two brothers.
She is surviced by her daughter, Romona White and husband, Virgel, Sayre, Oklahoma; son, John Parker and wife, Beckye, Iola, Kansas; Grandchildren, Brenton Mayfield and wiufe, Michelle, and Cassandra Mayfield, and Curtis Mayfield and wife, Kathy, and Jennifer Parker, Monty Parker, and Kim Mongtomery, Jessie Parker, Great grandchildren, Danielle Mayfield, and Brooke Squires and husband, Turner, and Kylie Mayfield, Keily Jo Parker, and Kirk Montgomery, and Richard Montgomery, Great Grandchildren, Addysen Squires and Presley Squiures, host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Servikces will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery officiated by Shane Coleman. Burial will be at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
