Pierce, Myrtice Jones Armstrong Robinson Phenix

Myrtice Romell Pierce was born March 17, 1924 in Hubbard, Texas to Myrtie Elizabeth and Turner Amrose Jones. She passed away May 14, 2012 at Pampa, Texas at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 27 days.
Myrtice grew up in Hubbard, Texas. She moved to California and was married to Jack Armstrong in 1942 and from that union two sons were born, Robert and Roger. She was married to John Edward Robinson in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1947. They lived in the Sweetwater community where they farmed and operated a dairy. From this union, 2 daughters were born, Brenda and Tommie. Ed passed away in 1973. She married Henry Phenix on April 6, 1976 and they lived in Sayre to make their home. After Henry passed away in 1994 she was married to Thomas Connie Pierce at Sayre, Oklahoma on September 5, 1995 and they continued to live in Sayre.
She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 1 son, Robert Armstrong, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Brenda Torres and husband, Robert, Sayre, OK and Tommie Blount, White Deee, TX; 1 Son, R.D. Armstrong and wife, Maggie, University City, TX; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family request that memorials be given to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
Services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Buffalo Baptist Church officiated by Jonasthan Morris. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
