Lavonda Sue Ray was born August 18, 1959 in Orange County, California to Willetta and Frankie Leroy White, Sr. She passed away August 20, 2015 at Reydon, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years and 2 days.
Lavonda was an angel placed here by God. Anyone who had the pleasure to meet Lavonda knew she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lavonda was a wild but kind spirit that was always there for everyone. The most important things in life for Von were her husband Ken
Ray of 38 years, her family, friends and her pets. One thing about Von that you could always count on was that she would have one of those many pets with her at all times. Lavonda would have Ken stop the vehicle in the middle of the road to pick up a stray to bring home. She was a country girl at heart and loved Oklahoma. Her dreams were to be around her family and friends and now she will be in heaven and on earth. She married Kenneth Lee Ray at Ventura, California on May 28, 1977.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Rod White.
She is survived by her husband, Ken of the home: her children, Christopher Ray and wife, Brandi,Quincy, CA; Rick Ray and wife, Shandea, Cheyenne, OK; Gina Clark and husband, Reggie, Lawton,
OK, and Patricia Leigh Ray, Reydon, OK; 8 grandchildren, Tristin, Noah, Bailey, Skylar, Cayten, Kinnah, Boston and Dayton; her mother, Willetta Thompson,Duncan,OK; two brothers, Billy Kilcrease, Duncan, OK and Brandon White; 1 sister, Billie Jo White; her stepfather, Bill Kilcrease, Healdton, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Reydon First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service Cheyenne.
