James William Redden, 83, of Franklin, Louisiana passed from this earthly life Monday afternoon, July 27, 2015 at Franklin Health Care Center, Franklin, Louisiana.
Mr. Redden was born in Ellis County, Oklahoma April 20, 1932, preceded in death by his parents, C.H. Redden, Genevieve Swope Redden and Ola Mae Redden of Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Mr. Redden graduated from Cheyenne High School, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and also graduated from Oklahoma A&M, Stillwater, Oklahoma (1953).
Besides his parents, Mr. Redden was preceded in death by his grandson Victor Flint Redden of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Angelina Behnke Redden, and sister, Julia Mae Thomas and her husband Tony of Midwest City, Oklahoma, niece, nephew, daughter, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and extended family.
Memorial services for Mr. Redden will be held Saturday morning, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3600 Northwest Expressway Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Redden’s family requests donations to: Heart of Hospice, Bayou Region 14777 Highway 90W Frontage Road, Franklin, LA 70538.
